I work online full-time from the beautiful state of Alabama. My whole biz is portable because I operate mostly from my trusty laptop!

If you want to know how it all started. . . . .
We really have to go waaaaay back!
To my first business venture. I was twelve. Seriously.
I was a pretty good piano player and had a teacher who was always encouraging me, not only to be a great piano player, but to know that when I grew up I could have a music teaching career that I ran out of my home and have my own money and such. I always listened. And learned.
At 12 years old, my teacher put me in business! She had a waiting list of students and would give me children from the list to teach for the first 2 years. I would teach them the fundamentals of the keyboard and she would take over after that. It was totally a referral business!
And, in the days where babysitting paid 50 cents an hour (no, that’s not a misprint!), my piano teaching salary of $1.50 for a half hour was pretty impressive!
You might say I liked business at that point!
OK, I know you don’t want my whole life history. . . . . so fast forward.
I came to the online marketing table after being a stay-at-home Mom for 20 years. I had collected my share of college degrees, sold real estate for a while, but soon realized I really liked staying at home! I had helped my husband start and build a lucrative biz that was going strong 25 years later and I really wanted a business of my own but I also wanted to operated out of my home! I began reading success stories of people who were making money online by selling digital products. I thought, “if they can do it, I can too!” So, I jumped in and have never looked back!
Where it’s all lead. . . .
My success came fairly quickly. After attending my first online marketing seminar in 2008, hiring a business coach to teach me the ropes, and doing the WORK, I can now say I am the author of the Amazon best-seller Be Social Be Rich, have been a contributing author of 3 other Amazon best sellers, have had my picture in a centerfold spread for Fast Company magazine, been listed in We online magazine for Women as one of the 100 women bloggers to watch in 2010, have had more guest spots on Blog Talk Radio shows than I can count, have been the keynote speaker at workshops, seminars, and break-out sessions around the country, including national organizations such as eWomen Network and Professional Speakers Association, have a coaching program of my own and am enjoying my life like never before!
Where it’s all going . . . .
What I’m passionate about is helping others achieve online business success so they can enjoy the freedom that comes from doing so. I do that by teaching webinars, creating learning products, mentoring folks one-on-one, and recommending awesome products that I know work!
