What The Weekend Means To Your Online Biz

Weekend!  Everyone loves the sound of those words and if you are a new online entrepreneur, you might be wondering what that means to your online biz.

The best part about being an online business owner?  The hours!

There ARE none!

What I mean is, there are no set-in-stone, 8-to-5 regimens to follow.  We work from our homes when we want.  Because we have more free time than most, the weekends can “look” alot like any other day to us!

A Saturday morning schedule?

Yes, I’m going to admit it.  I do have somewhat of a Saturday morning schedule.  Here’s why:  Many people are only on the internet on the weekends.  They may not have a chance to “find” my site, my products or anything else about my business any other time. 

It takes very little time and effort to do a little Saturday morning marketing and can prove to be very worth your time! 

Saturday morning marketing tips:

  • Blog.  It doesn’t have to be lengthy and it doesn’t have to be especially “deep.”  You can give a quick tip list or something new you learned along the way during  the week.  Constant communication.  That’s the main thing.
  • E-Mail.  Send a quick note to your list.  Let them know how you will be spending your weekend, wish them a happy weekend too and give them a link to a great product they might want to check out.  Or send them a special weekend report.  Takes a  couple of minutes and they will thank you for it!
  • Social Media.  Are you promoting a product?  Your site?  Read something interesting this morning?  Take a couple of minutes to update Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.  Remember, be engaging!  If someone asks you a question, be ready with an answer!

OK, there’s your quick and easy plan for the weekend.  Keep it simple.  You don’t have to put in a whole day’s work to keep yourself and your product in the eyes of your prospective customers.  

Now, go enjoy your weekend!  You deserve it!
