When was the last time you really looked at your site? I mean really gave it a scrutiny?
Did you put your site up a year ago (or longer) and still expect it to perform to your original standards?
Did you actually have any goals for the site?
This week, I have been looking mine over carefully and it definitely needs some changes. My guess is yours might need some too! For example, do you have a couple of affiliate links over in the sidebar that haven’t made you any money yet? Get rid of ‘em. At least, that’s my plan.
When was the last time you offered a new freebie? Have you updated your optin?
Now, I know, some of you are in the early stages. Be sure and do your planning on the front end. But, periodically, really look at your site and make changes. In fact, you should be tweaking it on a regular basis. I don’t mean totally revamping the whole site.
Continue to make it more user-friendly and interesting. Let it become as interactive as possible. Haven’t gone into videos yet? Think about it. Still shy about pictures? Work on that.
And always remember, the site is for your readers!
You want your site to look inviting but you don’t want it to get stale. Even Oprah changes her set every now and then. (Her website also gets tweaked often!)
Figure out exactly what you want to offer on your site. If everything is producing results, good for you. If not, get busy!
