Traffic, Traffic, and MORE Traffic (to your blog!)

by Martha on December 31, 2009

WARNING:  This great idea requires action on your part.

OK, you’ve got your blog up and running.  You are now communicating with people.

Or are you?

Sometimes, when you are writing on your blog, it may seem like you are just talking to yourself.

Guess what?

You might be!

The key to making any business profitable is getting customers in the door.  Same is true of your blog.

You need readers!

Readers=Customers

Here is one great tip, with four simple steps,  that you can use right now to generate more readers to your blog:

1.  First, if you don’t have a Facebook account, go get one. (it’s free) http://facebook.com

2.  Second, there is a Facebook application called “Network Blogs.”  Register your blog there.

3.  You will notice that you need  people to verify that you are the author.  Send the request to everyone on your list.

4.  Add your blog url to the comments section of this post.

Now, here’s where it’s gonna get FUN!

To everyone who enters their url in the comment section here:  I want you all to follow each other’s blogs using the Network Blog application on Facebook!

This is a win/win for everyone because your blog will become “syndicated” on Facebook.

What does that mean?

That you have the potential for half-a-million-eye-balls on your blog!

Now, go out there and make it happen!

Peace,

-Martha

p.s. Even though my own blogs are syndicated, I have to give credit to Connie Green for taking the syndication further wth this awesome idea!  Thanks Connie :)

Hey Martha, thanks for the heads up on how to get more traffic to my blog.

http://randomtamdom.com/blog/

It’s a work in progress but 2010 is going to be explosive!

Best wishes for a great new year.

Barb December 31, 2009 at 2:38 pm

Hi Martha!
I just did this for Connie’s blog too – my FB acct is “undeveloped”, but that didn’t matter for registering my blogs.
Search for these on Networked Blogs: (You will need to hit the link for under 20 followers to find mine)
babynurserydecors.com/blog
learnhypnotismtoday.com
Thanks! I am heading right over to follow everyone :)

Barb December 31, 2009 at 2:44 pm

Hi again,

I was able to find & follow Claus & Martha’s blogs on there, but I couldn’t find Trapper’s or Tam’s.

MJ Schrader December 31, 2009 at 4:39 pm

As always Martha a great post. I am working on 3 blogs trying to build them, and love to hear how they touch people… on some of my touchy topics I wish people would leave just some sort of comment. However When someone comments on the posts it keeps me writing about things like love, pain and abuse. :)

Tam, I’m following you now. Nice blog!

MJ, I was already following you on one, just added the other. Pretty impressive — 3 blogs!

Martha December 31, 2009 at 6:12 pm

Following both of your blogs, Barb! On Tam’s and Trappers, double-check your spelling. If there is still a problem, you can find both of them on my FB profile page. You can follow them from there. Thanks so much for your participation!

Barb December 31, 2009 at 6:44 pm

Whoops! My bad. Must have been my spelling. I am following both successfully now.

Thanks Martha! :)

Great motivation Martha! Yes, my blog is at
