How To Be a Team Player When You Are a Solo Entrepreneur

by Martha Giffen

Sometimes it’s hard being a solo entrepreneur.  Many days you just wish you had a team of like-minded people on your side.  There is a way to have that and it’s by being a team player yourself!

Here’s how:

  • Engage with others in your industry by attending seminars, online webinars and teleconferences.  Participate in online forums and groups that are specific to your niche.
  • When you locate people in your niche,  support what they are doing and they will (usually) support you also.
  • Review someone’s product on your blog.
  • Be sure and tweet out their links or share their content on Facebook.
  • Leave comments on their blog.

Anything that you do to help your fellow entrepreneur is considered being a team player.  Yes, we all want to make money for our businesses but we are also here to create a sense of community.

It’s so much easier and alot more fun when you feel like you are not out there operating on your own with no support. Reach out.  It will make a big difference in your business!

Peace,

-Martha
