Scarcity vs. Abundance

by Martha Giffen

Are you putting off starting your online business because you don’t think you have a unique idea?  Do you think all the great business opportunities are already taken?

I’ve got good news!

Every solution to a problem is a potential business.  And there’s room enough for all!

I have heard people say they wanted to go into a certain niche but didn’t because other, more experienced people were there. Or too many people.   Like, somehow there wasn’t enough business to go around.  I can tell you first hand to let that thought go.  I am in the biggest niche on the internet.  The how-to-make-money-online niche.  Most will advise not to go there.  I did anyway.  And have not looked back!

It’s all about the mindset.

When you think there’s not enough of something (ideas, business opportunities, wealth, etc.) you are coming from a place of scarcity. A place of lack.

But when you come to realize that your voice is unique and you bring something special to the table that nobody else possesses and you start to KNOW there’s a big world out there and you can fit in it too, you are coming from a place of abundance.  Even in business, there is abundance for all.  Make that your mantra.

There is business for us all!

Once you realize that there really is no competition, you are well on your way to having success in every area of your life.  Be yourself.  Go with your ideas.  Stop second-guessing.  Keep moving forward and remember that there’s no limit to the size of the pie.  There’s a slice for all.

Scarcity or abundance  — which mindset will you chose?
