It was inevitable that I would eventually blog about Fiverr.com.
It’s one of the most clever sites that’s come down the pipe in a while. Basically, it’s a cat-call of what people are willing to do for $5.00.
At first, I thought it was sorta funny. After all, there are some pretty curious items listed (I will write your name in the sand and send you a picture?) I heard about it one night on one of Pat O’Bryan‘s coaching calls. After taking a closer look, I was hooked! There was opportunity with a capital O.
If you are in the beginning stages of getting your biz up and running, sometimes money can be tight. You might not see any real profits for a while. If you’ve found something you absolutely are great at and can get done quickly (blog posts, articles, tweeting, leaving blog comments), then you might be able to increase your kiddy pretty quickly in only a few minutes a day.
You have an opportunity to showcase some of your work. Think of it this way: You are giving a great sample of what you can do. Give them your best and they’ll come back for more. See the possibility? Yet another avenue for business growth!
But I’m worth more!
Of course you are! And, the purchaser just might notice that and just might be looking for a regular, awesome, outsourcing avenue. That initial $5.00 gig could turn into a full-time outsourcing gig with the proper payment to boot!
It works both ways!
On the other hand, if you are needing outsourcing done in your biz and money is tight (or even if it isn’t!), this site is a fabulous place to find hidden gems. Need a WP site? How about a new website header? Maybe a few links to your site tweeted to someone elses 10,000 followers? It’s all there! People willing and ready to help. For $5.00
Never underestimate a good idea. Fiverr.com is a great one!
It’s a win/win for both sides.
Now go, take a look!
