It’s no secret that my passion is helping others achieve online success. In fact, my work never feels like work at all!
Danger! Watch out!
When you find your work fun and rewarding and truly are in love with it, you’ll have the tendency to want to do it 24/7. At least, that’s my story.
Passion for your niche is a grand thing. Having a dream is a wonderful thing. Neglecting your life is not.
Believe me, if you have an online business (or any other), there is always something to do.
It takes maturity and insight to realize that working all the time, no matter how much you genuinely enjoy it, is just not good. Mentally, spiritually and physically, you will eventually wonder what happened to your old self!
Free advice . . . . .
Take this for what it’s worth. Put your free time and your family time on your calender of importance. Be present in your life. Decide which day will be your rest day and then take a deep breath and go out and smell the roses. The work’s not going anywhere and you’ll feel much better.
There’s nothing like a commitment to a blog challenge to remind me of why I usually take a day off. Sunday is my day. It helps keep my passion in check.
Don’t let your passion become your poison.
The work will always be there. You’ll be a happier camper (as will your family)! And your passion will burn brightly!
Have a great day!
