What motivates you? Really, really motivates you? It’s probably your “why.”
There is always a “why.” Why you do what you do. Your “why” is important because that’s what keeps you motivated to continue going forward.
Hint: It’s not about the money!
Pure motivation comes from a deep desire that is tied directly to your “why.” For example, you may have a great online business that centers around your love of gardening. You may also love what you do. However, your “why” could be that you want to provide a great life for your children. Send them to fabulous schools. Provide them with artistic opportunities. Or your “why” could be that you have an elderly parent to take care of.
See what I mean?
Of course, everyone wants to make money with their biz. That is a main reason you started it in the first place. But, take a closer look. Your “why” is probably the dominant reason!
That’s your motivator. That’s what gets you out of bed every day to continue on. Even if you truly love what you do, (and I hope that’s the case!), there is a motivator behind it. Somewhere. If you just look.
Keyword is Motivation!
In the online world, and blogging in particular, we are all encouraged to use keywords in our writing. Keywords are used to propel our blogs and articles higher in the Google rankings. Same thing with motivation. Your motivation will push your limits so that your biz will continue to grow!
Learn from Tony Robbins!
One of the great motivators of our time is Tony Robbins. He will tell you that he enjoys helping people. Teaching people to reach their full potential. His “why?” He was hungry as a small child. His family received charity. His “why” is that he doesn’t want to experience that again. Pretty good driving force, wouldn’t you say?
Self-motivation can be tricky. But once you discover your true “why,” and keep that in your front focus, my guess is that your biz will take off like a rocket!
Keep moving. You are headed in the right direction!
