Have you ever noticed how your business mimics human life?
It starts with a tiny seed, takes baby steps, has growth spurts, may have a little rebellion, continues to grow, comes into it’s own, and continues to expand. There. My definition of business!
Recently, I have been presented with several new opportunities. I was talking to one of my mentors about it and admitting my fears. He bluntly gave me two words:
You gotta love it. When self-doubt comes creeping in, mentors are wonderful sources of encouragement
Why was I whining? The decision I needed to make really boiled down to business expansion and that’s the natural evolution of what we’re all trying to do. My self-confidence had waned and I was acting like a scared child.
We all have that moment. Right before the unknown. Where we doubt. Hesitate. Second-guess.
That’s the game-changer moment. You are prepared to take the next step. You can go for the winning points or retreat back to the sidelines.
We usually know when it’s time to make the next logical move. There is an evolution to our business. Sometimes we just need someone else to say:
Take the next step. It’s all good!
