We’re half way through. The 30-day blog challenge, that is.
I’m committed to writing a blog-a-day each day during the month of June. It’s half time today and I must say I would love to take a nice break, watch the band, grab some popcorn and wait it out in the second half.
Not that I don’t have plenty to blog about! My subject of online businesses always has something interesting to write about.
But it’s summer. And I think people would forgive me if I took a break. Don’t you?
Only a water break will do!
Only the committed finish the game. Only the well-practiced. Only the ones who are willing to do the drills every. single. day.
You see, writing this blog is actually fun. OK, it’s not always fun but it does produce results! By committing to blogging every day, my readers (that’s YOU!) come to expect to hear from me. And, because I’m also committed to giving fantastic content, they have come to expect that also.
Not to disappoint. . . .
If you are really serious about having an online business, you have to treat it just like you would any ball game you were committed to winning. You have to do the work-outs (daily blogging), learn new plays (keep current on technology), stay focused (on your niche), follow a routine (be systematic in your work), and listen to your coach (yes, you need one).
“But this isn’t a game and I’m not a ball player,” you might say. To which I respond, “Isn’t it and aren’t you?”
It’s the game of online business and as the owner, you are the main player.
Make the commitment to following a routine. I promise, it will help you win the game!
