For all the bloggers out there and especially the newcomers to the Ultimate Blog Challenge I’m participating in, this post is for you!
We all know that bloggers are naturally a sharing kind of bunch. They share information about their niche, info about their lives, and basically most are writing to share their voice with the world.
Bloggers are notorious networkers!
While I enjoy networking, I realize it’s considered necessary evil to some. The whole point of blogging is to get your message out and the only way to do that is to garner readers to your site. there are various ways to do that but I’ve got a way for you today to let your blog do the networking on its own!
Here’s a quick secret . . . .
There’s a great little app on Facebook called “Networked Blogs.”
- Register your blog there. Just scroll down to the Apps on FB and you’ll find it. Or just click on here: Networked Blogs and register your blog.
- Verify that you’re the author. This is really done by others. Send the request to everyone on your list.
You’ll notice that for your blog to be “syndicated” where it shows up on your FB wall and public stream, you have to have 20 people verify your authorship.
Let’s have some fun!
After you’ve committed your blog to Networked Blogs, leave your blog url (it will look something like this: http://networkedblogs.com/blog/www.marthagiffen.com) in the comments section of this blog. That way, we can all join together and follow each others’ blogs. It’s a win/win.
Let’s face it. The more eyes you have on your blog, the better.
Now, head on over and let your blog start networking for you!
p.s. You can also sinc your blog to Twitter from Networked Blogs. And, if your so inclined, grab a banner like the one on my right sidebar. Makes it simple for people to follow
